The human brain is divided into two parts as right and left hemispheres according to its behavior and thinking style. And according to a study conducted in 2013, we use approximately 65% of our cerebral functions.

Therefore, our brains always have more room for development and will continue to have, even if the total limits of our brain capacity become fully known. Because measuring the total limits of our brain capacity is a different concept than developing and using the full potential of the brain.

1. Conversational Hands

Did you know that the right brain is responsible for the actions of the left side of the body? So the best right brain activities consist of using the left side of your body. Just like in this activity!

How to Apply

  1. If you’re right-handed (like most people are), take a pen in your left hand. If you are already left-handed, you can apply this exercise to your right hand as a left brain stimulation.
  2. Write a question down with your dominant hand.
  3. Answer the question with your non-dominant hand. Don’t worry about keeping your lines neat.

2. Breathing Exercise

Brains are connected to the opposite sides of our bodies. So, when we breathe through our left nostril, it activates our right brain. So most exercises to strengthen right side of brain are based on using the left side of our body.

  1. Close your right nostril and breathe through the left nostril.
  2. Try to breathe normally to avoid dizziness.

How to Apply

  1. You can use a deck of cards or a set of matching game cards for this activity.
  2. Place the cards face down on the floor.
  3. Simply, flip the cards and try to find their match in the least amount of flips.
  4. Keep in mind that you can only flip 2 cards at a time and if you fail to pair them, you must turn them back down.

4. Eyes Tracking Exercise

Right eye to track from Left to Right to stimulate the Right brain
Hold up right index finger in front of your face at an arm’s length.
Move right index finger to the RIGHT SLOWLY and stop when you can no longer see your finger (around 1 o’clock or 2 o’clock).
Move right index finger to the LEFT SLOWLY and stop when you can no longer see your finger (around 10 o’clock or 11 o’clock in anti-clockwise direction, counting from 5, 4, 3, 2, 1).

Close eyes, hands on laps, move eyeballs up -> down -> side -> other side with eyes closed, 2 deep breaths.

5. Words Stem Completion

Complete below word stems within 2.5 minutes, 30 second for each word stem.
