Principal Chiropractor | Clinical Exercise Specialist | Integrative Rehabilitation<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Helping people move better, sleep better, regulate their nervous system, recover from pain, and achieve lasting whole-person wellness through integrative chiropractic and rehabilitation care.<\/b><\/p>

Dr Alecia is an integrative chiropractor with advanced training in chiropractic neurology, rehabilitation exercise, sensory integration and functional movement. She combines evidence-informed chiropractic care with rehabilitation, brain-body therapies and regenerative technologies to help patients achieve long-term improvements in health and function\u2014not just temporary pain relief.<\/p>

Her approach recognises that many persistent health problems involve more than joints and muscles. By addressing movement quality, nervous system regulation, breathing mechanics and neuromuscular control, she helps patients restore efficient movement, improve resilience and support the body\u2019s natural ability to adapt and recover.<\/p>

Dr Alecia has particular interest in managing musculoskeletal pain, spinal conditions, TMJ and craniofacial disorders, headaches, sports and workplace injuries, breathing and core dysfunction, postural imbalances, pregnancy care, paediatric development, sensory processing challenges and neurodevelopmental conditions. She also supports individuals with disability, chronic illness and complex presentations requiring an integrative approach.<\/p>

Her treatment plans may include chiropractic adjustments, Neural Organisation Technique (N.O.T.), Active Release Technique (ART), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS), Functional Pilates, Interactive Metronome (IM), sensory integration, primitive reflex integration, photobiomodulation, shockwave therapy, infrared therapies and personalised rehabilitation exercises.<\/p>

    Hill Yang<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

    Remedial Massage Therapist | Accredited Exercise Scientist | Movement Rehabilitation<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

    Helping people understand why pain keeps returning\u2014and restoring efficient movement through expert manual therapy, rehabilitation and movement science.<\/b><\/p>\n

    Hill brings more than 20 years of clinical experience and over 25,000 patient treatment sessions to Optimal Wellness Institute. His assessment-driven approach combines hands-on therapy with exercise rehabilitation to identify the underlying movement dysfunction contributing to pain, rather than simply treating symptoms.<\/p>\n

    Holding dual qualifications in Remedial Massage Therapy and Exercise Science, Hill specialises in complex musculoskeletal conditions, persistent pain, sports injuries and movement dysfunction. His unique Dynamic Myofascial Release (DMFR) framework integrates detailed movement assessment, soft tissue treatment, neuromuscular release and corrective exercise into a single personalised treatment session.<\/p>\n

    Hill has additional training in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, allowing him to better understand tissue pathology when clinically indicated, and is also qualified in dry needling.<\/p>\n

    His clinical experience includes working with elite athletes as part of the 2018 Commonwealth Games Medical Team, the Gold Coast Titans (NRL) and Burleigh Bears. This background enables him to understand how movement changes under strength, speed and fatigue, helping athletes and active individuals recover efficiently while reducing the risk of future injury.<\/p>\n

    Hill particularly enjoys working with people experiencing persistent pain, post-surgical recovery, recurrent sporting injuries, headaches, jaw dysfunction, nerve-related pain and patients who have not achieved lasting results with previous treatments.<\/p>\n
